  to Improve in Study

  1.  Understand Why You’re Studying

  • Set clear goals (e.g. pass SSC with A+, get into BUET, master a subject).

  • Motivation drives consistency.

2.   Make a Realistic Study Plan

  • Divide subjects into daily or weekly goals.

  • Use the Pomodoro Technique: 25 minutes study + 5 minutes break.

  • Example schedule:

    TimeSubject/Task
    6–7amMath practice
    4–5pmScience revision
    8–9pmEnglish reading

3.   Use Active Learning (Not Just Reading)

Passive reading is less effective than active methods:

  • Ask questions while reading.

  • Summarize topics in your own words.

  • Teach the topic to a friend (Feynman technique).

  • Use flashcards, mind maps, or quizzes.

4.  Take Notes the Smart Way

  • Use the Cornell Note-taking System:

    • Notes → Key Ideas → Summary

  • Highlight only key points—avoid over-highlighting.

5.   Practice > Memorization

  • Solve past papers regularly.

  • Practice math/science problems every day.

  • Time yourself to simulate exam conditions.

6.   Use Technology Wisely

Apps and tools that help:

  • Anki or Quizlet – for flashcards.

  • Notion or Google Keep – for notes & planning.

  • YouTube channels for visual learners: e.g., Khan Academy, 10 Minute School (Bangladesh), Physics Wallah.

7.    Stay Healthy & Focused

  • Get enough sleep (7–8 hours).

  • Eat brain foods: nuts, fish, fruits.

  • Stay active: exercise helps concentration.

  • Avoid too much social media during study time.

8.   Revise Regularly

  • Review what you learned weekly.

  • Don’t cram the night before exams—space it out.
